How we use the information you supply to us

We use the information we receive from you to provide goods and/or services that you request, to communicate with you and to personalise the information we send to you. We do NOT sell, rent or pass on your personal information to any third parties.

We store the information you provide to us when using our website together with information which we may collect from your browsing. Our web server (as with most web servers) logs each page that is downloaded from the website.

We ask for your home and/or mobile telephone number, and an email address to enable us to contact you in relation to an enquiry you have made or to contact you if there is a query with your order. If you provide us with credit card, debit card or PayPal details in order to pay for a service or product, we will keep this information secure and ensure that they are only used in the future with your consent or for the purposes of any appropriate refunds.

We may also use the information we collect to notify you by post, email and SMS text message about new or existing products, services and special offers we think you may find of interest. And we will send you copies of our new catalogue in the post.

By providing the requested data you consent to us using this for administrative purposes and to inform you of products, services and special offers by post, SMS text message, and/or email. If you do not want us to send you these please include a note in the additional information field in the shopping basket stating this and we will update our records accordingly.

How we protect customer information

As required by the Data Protection Act 1998, we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information you have given to us.

If we provide information to a third party (such as an external data processing mailing house) we will ensure that they:

  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of the information and restrict access to those of its own key employees;
  • Use the data for the stated purpose only and prevent it being used for any other purpose by any other party;
  • Return the data to us at the conclusion of any contract term and destroy or delete any copies made of all or any part of the information unless copies are needed to be kept to comply with regulations.

In addition, we will restrict the information disclosed to the absolute minimum necessary, for example, to provide the product or service.

Your consent

A customer may provide his or her spouse or partner's consent over the telephone or through the website provided he/she confirms that he/she has permission to do so.
